Tom Platz – DON’T LEAVE THE GYM A LOSER – Bodybuilding Motivation

You go into the gym You want success You want results You have to do something about it, you just can't hope for it You can't expect it just to happen because you showed up You can't just expect it to happen because you did a few of these and a few of those And you know you ate some protein and all that stuff You have to take ACTION That you are NOT gonna go home a loser I would rather DIE Then acknowledge to myself that I'm that loser There is nothing that I won't do I love the squat rack To me it's like a different sport I mean the squat rack, the squat performance, the execution of the squat Is a different sport from powerlifting and from bodybuilding to me To me it's I have these feelings and emotional ties to the squat rack Everytimes I do squat it's sometimes I wonder if I'm gonna come back You wonder if you're gonna come back after all those reps I have every time so far I'm not talented It was LIFE and DEATH Either you live or you die Which one do you want? That was the decision If you want something bad enough If you want something BAD enough you can't let ANYBODY tell you that you CAN'T do something!! You will FIGHT to the DEATH to maintain your promise to yourself You have to demand it, you have to promise yourself This is it right here You have to promise yourself That you will NOT EVER BE A FAILURE You have to do a lot more than just show up You just can't show up, you just can't pretend You have to demand from the workout that you're gonna get results You have to have the results in your brain before you even get there It's gonna take ALL of you It's gonna take every ounce of your being EVERYTHING you got And if you give it any less than everything you totally got and your not totally spend You're not doing enough You PROMISED yourself You fkn promised yourself to be the best person you can be THAT'S what makes you train THAT'S what makes muscles grow Nobody fkn knows the secret THAT'S the secret It's who I am, it's what I do, It's what I'm good at And if you think you could have done more, you're a loser I do not EVER want to go home from the gym, going I'm a loser I could have done more

The Evolution of Female Bodybuilding

Hi guys, «Nature of Bodybuilding channel» with you today and in this video I want to talk to you about all of the winners of Ms Olympia contest The first Ms Olympia contest was held in 1980 and unlike the first male bodybuilding show in 1965, there were 20 female contestants The first one among all of them was the American female bodybuilder Rachel McLish I wouldn’t call her a bodybuilder as appearing at the first Ms Olympia contest she looked like a model not a commonplace female bodybuilder She was 165 cm or 5’5’’ tall with weight of 58 kg or 127 lb in her prime I think that she was just a lean girl with a beautiful figure Anyway, the winning of the show brought her a lot of fame but despite that she continued doing it for the following 4 years For example, in 1982 she was the first again making her two times Ms Olympia winner Let’s watch her performance till the end Well, guys that was Rachel’s performance However, in 1981, she came the 2nd after a female bodybuilder from Finland Kike Elomaa Like Rachel, she wasn’t that big and would look like a bikini competitor now Let’s have a look at her The 1983 Ms Olympia winner was Carla Dunlap and it was her greatest achievement in her bodybuilding career By the way, she came the 2nd after Rachel McLish in 1982 and continued participating up until 1993 but her placing just got worse Anyway, her fist placing in 1983 was significant because black women were not given as much recognition for athletic accomplishments Besides that achievement, Carla’s physique produced another model It was a body a bit bigger than other competitors While being a little larger, she managed to present symmetry that the judges were looking for This could be considered the stage in which women started to push the size barrier So, now let’s turn to 1984 It was the beginning of Cori Everson’s rein, so to speak She was only 25 when she won her first title And as a result, she won Ms Olympia title for 6 consecutive years from 1984 to 1989 By looking at her, I think she looked more like current women’s physique participants, more aesthetic I think And she wasn’t that big either For instance, with the height of 172 cm or 5’ 8’’, she was only 66 kg or 145 lb If the judges had continued being in favor of this kind of physique, I think there wouldn’t have needed to cancel Ms Olympia bodybuilding category in 2014 As I mentioned in my previous video, up until a certain threshold having some lines, visible muscles gained by means of working out is great for women, but then their beauty begins to slip As for Cory Everson, not only is she famous for being a female bodybuilder but she is also known for being an actress For example, she played a negative character called Kara in the 1991 action movie Double Impact with Jean-Claude Van Damme When I was a little boy, not only was I impressed by Van Damme’s physique and ability to move but Cory’s physique was also captivating Needles to say, our next female Ms Olympia winners were much more muscular For example, Lenda Murrey was Ms Olympia winner for 8 times from 1990 to 1995 and in 2002 and 2003 she was also the first Despite being more muscular than her predecessors, she brought a lot of interests to female bodybuilding by her captivating performances Referring to even Dorian Yate’s words, she took the competition to the next level and lots of women were inspired to do bodybuilding because of her So, she was like a female version of Arnold, so to speak Well just look at this V-taper, Christmas tree, shredded physique I think it’s really impressive for a femal bodybuilder Even our next winner of Ms Olympia from 1996 to 1999, Kim Chizevsky, considered her to be her idol In turn, talking about Kim, I think that she was a real female giant In her prime standing at a height of 173 cm or 5’ 8’’, her weight was 72 kg or 159 lb which was really a lot taking into account that she was extremely shredded in her prime By the way, maybe you’ve already noticed the tendency that in 1990s both female and male bodybuilders started to look extremely muscular Even now, almost nothing has changed since then Referring to Dorian Yates’s words, growth hormone was brought out to bodybuilding at that time Needless to say, female bodybuilders probably began experimenting with it as well But this is my opinion In 2000, Andrulla Blanchette from England was the first in the category of 135 lb or 61 kg Let’s have a look at her insanely high quality of muscles and muscle mass at the same time Just unbelievable Look at that! 2001 title was taken by Juliet Bergman from Netherlands The most interesting fact that she managed to do it at the age of 43 and she repeated the winning in 2002 and 2003 but only in the category of up to 135 lb or 61 kg She had a really interesting competing career as she started competing in 1985 and changed her physique from an aesthetic one (I think she was like a reminisce of Cory Everson) to a really muscular For instance, here you can see her in the 1980s when she looked really ecstatic She started her career at that time Now let’s observe her performance when she managed to win the title Off course, she was more muscular, shredded and you can also probably notice her change in face Finally, the era of the most successful bodybuilder of all times, Iris Kyle started But before talking about Iris, I want to show you the winner who actually managed to take the title from Iris in 2005 and it was Yaxeni Oriquen, a Venezuelan-American professional female bodybuilder And in this Yaxeni is standing in the middle, between Iris Kyle and Dayana Cadeau, showing her muscles to the crowed As for Iris, she won her first title in 2004 and never lost it apart from 2005 Just imagine Iris Kyle had ten overall Ms Olympia wins In her prime standing at a height of 170 cm or 5’ 7’’ her competing weight was 72 kg or 159 lb In 2014 Ms Olympia contest was held for the last time making Iris Kyle the last female bodybuilder winning Ms Olympia contest and with 10 overalls making her the most successful bodybuilder of all time Anyway, despite really tough competition in Ms Olympia contest as all of the participants were really muscular, well prepared sometimes they even had to have silicon breasts, female bodybuilding Ms Olympia contest was canceled in 2014 and later replaced by less massive women’s physique category There were lots of reasons for that, off course First of all, in comparison to Mr Olympia contest, it wasn’t so popular Also, female bodybuilding is a really controversial sport It isn’t natural for women to have huge and shredded muscles For instance, look at Iris Kyle, she looks like a woman without skin So, low body fat doesn’t seem natural especially for women Therefore, by looking at them it is even more certain that they are taking drugs to achieve the conditioning and they generally tend to lose their feminine look when they are in their prime So in turn it has nothing to do with health lifestyle and health On the other hand all of these factors make female bodybuilding really interesting and it is really fascinating to see what women can actually achieve through dedication and constant training And I have prepared this video for you to see the step by step evolution of female bodybuilding, which I think now, is the topic that deserves a lot of attention Well, guys Thank you for watching Please give this video a thumb’s up if you like it and subscribe to my channel Good Luck

JAY CUTLER – THE GREATEST COMEBACK – Bodybuilding Motivation

In 2006 he finally beat Ronnie When I won and knocked off the champ it was a huge huge the monkey off my back I've been coming here you know and getting second all these times and everyone told me you know you're wasting your time, you're not gonna win and I persevered and I train harder and came back every year and came back stronger and here I am you know this is a day that no one thought they'd see Jay will you be back next year to defend this trophy you've just won and spent a lifetime trying again? Of course! It's not necessarily being the biggest hugest rip guy it's an all-around look where you can still stay markedable and you know people actually look at your physique and they look at your look and they say that a great look I'd like to look like that you know anyone can say look at some of these guys and say wow they're freaky but asking if they want to look like that you know and they say no He made a promise to the fans I will return to this stage AS MROLYMPIA Whatever it is I'll do it! I gotta win! The next name you hear will be the 2007 Mr Olympia I fulfill my prediction I came back and I won my second sandow what can I say I mean I still felt like the champion no matter what because I always do put a hundred percent effort I knew Dexter won I knew Dexter won I gave it to him Dexter Jackson didn't win the Olympia in 2008 I gave the title to him There's a lot of people right now that doubt that I'm gonna come back to do that but there was a lot of people in the beginning that doubted when I was placed second second second that I actually win over and become the world champion and I did that and no one believed that until that final announcement, rate at the time so here we are flowing into the next year I think Jay potentially could still win the contest if he got in the best shape he's ever been in but he hasn't done that for a few years and you have to ask why he hasn't done that is it a matter of motivation maybe if it's motivation now he is gonna be motivated he has been beaten I can't really fear any of that I can't fear losing because I've already lost the title I want it back I'm probably a whole different person coming into 2009 season I've ever been my mental my mental focus is definitely better I realize what I'm gonna do to be better I know what I need to do to be better Don't tell me that you can't be something in life Don't tell me that you don't have enough energy to keep pushing You gotta keep pushing, your life depends on it don't let your mistakes or your weaknesses destroy your greatness It's a choice! to never give up Two time MrOlympia Jay Cutler!

Ronnie Coleman – HARDEST WORKING MAN IN THE ROOM – Bodybuilding Motivation

I had a scenario where my workout partner dropped a 200 pound dumbbell on my toe because he didn't know how heavy it was gonna be when he was getting ready to do flat bench dumbbell presses It kinda broke it, but it was right at the tip It was the most pain I ever felt in my life but it didn't hinder my training Being the person that I am The determined person that I am I was back in the gym the next day Doing squats and everything else The only thing I couldn't do was Probably calf raises That was light weight Once you find a winning formula for something You don't really go away from it, you continue to do what it took to get you to win all those other titles I'm pretty much doing the same thing That I've always done Train you know real hard Heavy and all that kind of stuff The first thing I thought was all the hard work All the time that I've been up there on that treadmill And putting in that whole hour before work and after work Having to go to work, and the times in the gym, all these times that I kneeled and prayed It was just a whole bunch of emotions going through my mind all at one time It's kinda hard to put in words It's almost like the greatest feeling in the world Time to get the show on the road!!

Flex Wheeler – THE MIND IS THE STRONGEST MUSCLE – Bodybuilding Motivation

You can't buy this You can't give this to an athlete It just has to be embedded in you He just grabbed it, ran with it and believed in it And that's just what athletes do, and a lot of the times they don't understand that The mind is so much more superior than the body Probably one of the greatest things I learnt from Flex When we were in there training, he took me places I've never been And I've been squatting 800 pounds for almost every week for years And when I went to train with Flex We were leg pressing 6-8 plates on a side I used to do 16-20 plates, stack people on top But the volume with the minimized rest periods took me to a place that my cardiovascular conditioning had never been before You understand how important strong the mind is It's so important that you climb into your mental Where the mind goes the body will follow And there's that point at which you start wondering if you're gonna be able to get your next breath Mentally tough, there's no quit!! Listen man, get away from everything, shut down Time and side yourself and get mental Tap into that mental part If you're sitting around looking at everything that you can't go there You gotta walk away, close your eyes, shut down and get mental Get inside yourself, and don't come out till it's over with Why would I train and close my eyes when I'm doing curls? Because it's like a mind-muscle connection I wanna shut everybody else out, I don't wanna see the girl So you wanna try to create that on demand Especially for a body type that you can't see, like your back or hamstrings I 100% believe in myself like I never have in anything else whatsoever And I think my physique and routine will display that a 100% It doesn't matter what you place in front of me I'm gonna look at it as an object that I can handle That's been 100% the key To everything So I didn't cheat, I didn't run from my diet and my training was through the roof, my weight is just ridiculous and I'm ready to display that We respected Arnold and the people who came before us, so we understood the HARD WORK A real champion is trying to win and I wanna beat the best guy in his best condition so there's no excuse I believe in myself as an athlete, I believe that I'm number one I believe in myself, and only myself Where the mind goes the body will follow Such tremendous heart, there is no quitting

NPC – Could We Soon See Drug Testing In the NPC With Bodybuilding?

the contents are going to be tested by your analysis no polygraph and this thing has nothing to do with the Olympics or the io6 IOC the idea of drug testing and professional bodybuilding and the MPC has come back up and of course whenever I have questions or anything I need to know about bodybuilding I go to my coach I have BB Pro former Quincy Roberts currently runs a big MPC promotion in Greensboro North Carolina we're going to see what his response is to some organizations thinking about adding drug testing into the MPC well when they're doing a drug testing competition I think the only way anybody can have a truly drug testing competition is to do your analysis or some type of blood test is really going to need that you know if these people are not taking drugs having lie detectors and sworn statements so anybody can probably pass a lot of texture depending on how good the lie detector machine is but your analysis would surely be the only way they can show if there's no in their body do you feel like MPC organization knowing that your analysis test conflicts with the overall mission of the MPC I don't think it does because you know basically most MPC shows are not drug tested but for them to have a drug-free competition to truly be a probe champion showing thing needs to be done because that's the only way the other people is not doing the show say the legitimate means is a drug-free competition that there are adding a passing or not for more check my channel into fitness cubes and or you can email me you are elite at gmailcom and call me at three three six nine eight seven four zero seven and please subscribe to my channel and like on this video if you like the information you got today
