Grocery Shopping with Pro Bodybuilders | Victor Martinez’s Grocery Run

hey whats up everybody Victor Martinez here we're gonna start today by going through my daily food shopping regimen I go to three markets I'm very particular where I get my stuff and right now we at Trader Joe's and this is what I get from Trader Joe's come on let's go see now I get my bananas here because it's the organic just like Whole Foods but fraction of the price again only thing is sometimes a little beaten up over here I don't know they mistreat bananas so I'd like to report an assault on aisle number one for bananas but these are good though this is a bit like the Gala apples for the crunchiness I eat by texture not gonna eat no soggy Apple crunchy one of these is ready to eat so I'm gonna take these eventually they'll ripen up so of course I'm gonna love pears too green must be green it's a little scratchy but it's a pear it's a little different not like the apples where they get mushy these are not the best shape pears but these are definitely the best tasting pears again because of the crunchiness oh aint that a beauty look at that nice peach it's great it's probably the best time to come here cuz everything is still pretty much organized you can still grab the best fruit so I'm running with it right yeah good enough right some potatoes again this is a 399 I think about $499 at Whole Foods so we're gonna grab these here why not again gotta have strawberries come on guys he's gonna buy fruits and not get strawberries these perfect strawberries sometimes the best time later on only the beaten up ones will be there gonna get mangoes I only get one pack because if I get two I eat two if I get three I eat all three so I only get one eggs are the best these are the like the extra-large you know a week I think I go through about man I'll have the same probably close to three $400 a week okay so this is one thing I don't get in Trader Joe's I get the $30 grapes at Whole Foods hey the best grapes come on guys you cant even deny it just the crunchiness you actually put them in your mouth and they just pop inside that crunchiness you don't know never try them you won't know you won't understand you don't understand again forget the price it's about the taste and quality okay guys you know me I'm Dominican you know you gotta have some platanos all right you know I'm gonna show you I'm gonna do later for my show promotion for DR Code of arms I'm gonna have to take a couple of Platanos with me because this one's gonna be called hit em with a platano don't show up to code of arms I'm gonna hit you with a platano okay I got the russet potatoes again this is just doing white over here you have the only Whole Foods has them the White Sweet potatoes and can't buy them too big because they take longer to cook so I always look for the smallest ones get atlantic Simon get a three point six right so two pieces in New York no that'll be it thank you thank you - okay there you go it's $6 99 at Trader Joe's another piece of chicken the thin slice was $599 I mean sometimes Whole Foods they get they get this this was $499 so I'm taking it aint too much fat so you can see there's not much fat on the chicken you don't have to cut so many out of it I don't know what the Irish did to oatmeal but definitely the Irish got some good tasting oatmeal so I like I know people go to BJ's and those big wholesale clubs I don't like walking in the mall to go shopping I like the smaller shop and again I don't think they have easily the stuff I have acquired a taste for one more this is artificial shopping now this is where I get my Splenda occasional diet coke drinker hey guys this is the last of the three supermarkets that I usually make my rounds today took a little while longer again because I'm being very informative to you guys and usually it takes about 30 minutes to cover all three this is my artificial food shopping now everything that's artificial I get from here let's go this is quick I make sure I get what's best for me price was best for me everybody needs a biscuit I give myself a biscuit when I do good when I work hard so those old-school crackers that I ate since I was I don't know 10 and gatorade this is just again the artificial stuff this is what I have after legs you know after back workout usually have the when I do arms I have the g2 I do legs back I like having my regular Gatorade and of course Diet Coke yeah this is my grocery shopping again artificial stuff is not every three days like like my meat or anything else this is probably maybe once a week Trader Joe's and Whole Foods is definitely the two times a week shopping this is once a week let's keep rolling is what I do is what I do all year around all right guys this is it this is a shopping again this is probably 30-40 minutes of my day two times a week sometimes sometimes three but usually two times a week

What Bodybuilders Eat for Dinner | Grilling with Johnnie O Jackson

Johnnie O Jackson here IFBB Pro welcome to my kitchen and today I'll be showing you and Muscle & Strength what I eat for dinner this is a normal dinner meal for me and almost any Texan man it's our norm so we'll be eating steak and potatoes you know that's the heart of every meal or every man here in Texas more or less you know don't quote me on that but it works here at my house you know normally for a potato it takes forever at least 45 minutes or so in the oven to prepare a potato but for today and the purposes of me and my eating and not having a whole lot of time to prepare a meal this is what I use this little pocket right here this thing is a lifesaver easy to pack so when it's Meal Time I go buy me a potato take out this bam ready to go the only thing you do is need some h2o we first wet the potato nice and vigorously and we wet the bag somewhat if you don't use moisture you know within the pouch and the potato the potato are dry totally dry out and ruin you know your meal so you put the potato in the pouch it's a microwave so I'm gonna actually put it in for I say eight minutes should be good and off the goes I want to put in there for about eight minutes and off it goes this is so clean easy you know and you know if you're not done your steak eight minutes you know you can tend to your steak while that's going on you know and then when it's done by time is done your steak is pretty much done because I usually do three or four minutes on each side for a steak so it finishes out just about correctly all right got the steak on just let it go yeah I did actually I had to go 12 my the 8 minutes the first time I felt it up it was still pretty hard so I put it back in for 4 more minutes perfect definitely this is where our getting the main source of fats is through my meats that I eat and that's another reason why red meat is very important because the fat content in the meat also we need fats we need carbs we need protein you know we need that fine balance of everything to keep this machine going correctly it's simple easy and there you go my normal dinner meal sirloin steak and potatoes

Grocery Shopping with Pro Bodybuilders | Costco w/ Steve Kuclo

and I usually get to Costco probably once a week sometimes twice but it's time to stock up and you guys are coming with me so if I'm going to the store you are too I have one salmon meal a day right now and it's about eight ounces of cooked salmon I really like red meat I think you know the older I get you know the digestion and you know my GI stuff is important to maintain so what I like to do I notice you know as I've gotten older my protein amounts have come down a little bit versus like I remember eating 10 or 12 ounces of cooked meat for a meal now I eat anywhere from you know eight to ten ounces and I feel better like it's not as heavy so red meat sometimes can be a little bit heavy but that's why I eat it a little bit later in the day but I notice like when I'm carbing up for a show and stuff I'll have a few steak meals and just that red meat I always feel like it just really makes my body pop so just you know little things you don't know if that's if you could find the science behind it but the bodybuilding science is it works some of the vegetables I like celery have to check on the dates and make sure the dates are sometimes if you don't check it you buy something expires in two days and you get screwed and you screw yourself mushroom I lied I didn't need five pounds of mushrooms I only needed two avocado good healthy fats wife loves to have she loves avocados so we always pick them up at Costco I have been currently we're we've cut egg whites we've cut out cheat meals and we'll kind of use them as needed or refeed or high carb days that way everything is very monitored almost every couple days you know things are changing my diet changes based on progress and weight and stuff like that so when I do check ins with George is when I wait to hear back and then I see the email or the text or something of what I got to do and it's like like getting a report card like okay what does it say

Juicing with Pro Bodybuilders | Fouad Abiad’s Morning Juice

okay guys so in the last video I saw a lot of the comments on my breakfast video asking me the foods cool but how do you juice so today I'm gonna show you guys how to juice I'm Fouad Abiad and this is your morning juice a lot of people have trouble with their blood work they have elevated liver enzymes elevated kidney enzymes for many different reasons okay one of the ways you can detoxify your body is by vegetable juicing that's what I usually start my day with I get up in the morning I make a quick juice it taste like shit I'm not gonna lie to you it doesn't taste good it's not a vegetable it's not a fruit smoothie or anything like that it's literally vegetables with an apple in there and apple's the only thing that can kind of save you but to make it really work you got to use the vegetables that detoxify your body the most so obviously the first thing you wanna do is wash it because the reason we're doing this is to help detoxify our body so if we're not getting good fresh vegetables or cleaning them you're kind of defeating the purpose because and you're just putting dirt and shit back into your body anyway okay so very simple juicer goes on stuff goes in it's some parsley and cilantro carrot throw an apple in there lemon for liver health and the reason we're juicing and not blending because I don't want the fiber I literally just want the nutrients that are gonna help flush my body and we have a little piece of ginger okay so that's it this is your way to health okay so look there's no easy way to do it nothing in here tastes good like I said the apple and the lemon may save you a little bit but it's disgusting you just gotta get it down it's just once a day it's like medicine okay so has to be done and it's the way to stay healthy that's my morning ritual every morning

Grocery Shopping with Pro Bodybuilders | Regan Grimes’s Grocery Trip

so a big staple would be would be this for sure cheese this is Monterey Jack I have about 1 pound with each meal so could you imagine hey muscle and strength this is Regan Grimes here IFBB Pro and primeval labs athlete I'm here today and I'm going to show you what I eat on my offseason so I'm gonna take you in the grocery store here we're in Venice California at smart and final I'm gonna show you what I'm eating come along so today I'm gonna pick up one of this organic beef this is ninety three percent lean so seven percent fat it's good yeah so main protein sources is beef so ground beef organic chicken breast turkey and salmon all four I really like to use we're missing my coffee so this is I like this Starbucks iced coffee so I take this pre-workout with mega pre white so the primeval labs mega pre white is just pump so I really prefer to take the pump product and then I'll take about like a glass of this just for a little bit of caffeine but not too much yes also like you know sometimes I like egg whites for breakfast I don't always do them but it's it's a good clean protein source that you can get in and it's very easy digestible and it's not heavy on the stomach so yeah so here's some Greek yogurt I like it's like 15 grams of protein per per little carton it's easy to see you know it's kind of a nice treat like after the meal I'll always how usually have one maybe have like two of these a day you know just after a meal just get a little bit of extra I like fruit flavors so a big staple would be would be this for sure cheese this is Monterey Jack I have about 1 pound with each meal so could you imagine yeah so basically for for seasonings what I like is Himalayan sea salt it's good for minerals I actually put it on every meal so I know a lot of people will say you know too much salt is bad I put lots of salt on my meals and it actually it flushes but you got to make sure you drink a lot of water if you're gonna have a lot of a high sodium so you got to make sure you're doing both oh I love this is one of my favorites peach tea peach tea diet Snapple there's five calories per 12 ounces so it's really good I love it have you ever had squirt before it's like grapefruit pop but they have diet version this is 140 calories per thing you can't be having no yes they have it found it yeah diet squirt no it's really good man it's really good yeah I love it yeah so like I've done a prep where I completely cut diet pop and I've done a prep where I've used diet pop or drank diet pop lots and you know I'm not crazy I'm not gonna drink like six a day but like if I have two it's no big deal it's not doing anything you know it's fine if something that simple can like get you through you know to the next meal take advantage of it you know it's not gonna kill you just going to see if these chex are they flavored or are they not these are just if there's no flavor to these so I'm gonna grab honey nut cheerios let me just stock back up cereal could be my last meal of the day it could be the first meal of the day I don't have a specific like carb that I use for each meal I just know like how much carbs I need out of each meal so when I'm like okay I feel like cereal I'll have the cereal as the carb and I'll have beef as the as the protein or I'll have chicken and I'll have pasta and I'll have you know I just always switch it up make sure I'm enjoying my meals and yeah if you don't enjoy them you're not gonna get them in so make sure you know you're making the food taste good as well spend a little more time in the kitchen and it's gonna pay off later so a great tip for that I could give you is picking up these mios or the Dasani drops I have some at home in Canada they're called tang and it's really really good I'm gonna take a shot in the dark in one of these I haven't tried them before but I really like pink lemonade so with this basically I'll keep this beside my sink at home with a glass fill up the water put two squirts of this in smash it down I'll do that like eight times a day anytime I think about it and I'm getting my water in so make sure you stay hydrated well big staple in my offseason is has been pasta it's an easy way to get in like my hundred and twenty hundred and forty grams of carbs you get my tomato sauce tomato and basil it's my favorite one use that and I have I like different types of pasta I did penne for a while and now I'm gonna get the thin spaghetti it also cooks faster so it's called spaghetti teeny I believe sometimes I've it's been called something different but that's the really small one yeah I think it's this one it's I think Stan was here before me thin spaghetti so there's thin spaghetti oh this is it angel hair angel hair so yeah like I said there's different names like I it's four for $5 so I'll get four of these all right so here here we have the berry blast this is a fruit juice could easily afterwards eating a meal you know you might struggle to get the meal in or whatever like 100 3 cups of rice and 8 ounces of Turkey and then once you've eaten that it's very easy you know to have a banana or have an apple a Honey Crisp apple is my favorite right now and then on top of that to get even more food in you can have some juice so here you're gonna get an additional 30 carbs if you're if you're feeling hungry you can even use 16 ounces which is still not that much you can easily drink your your carbs to get to that 200 carb mark so last but not least we're gonna pick up some fruit I'm gonna get a couple bananas and I'm gonna get a couple of my favorite apples which is the Honey Crisp apples so these ones I love these ones they're like they're kind of sweet but they're they're they're crispy like Honey Crisp it's not a good one gotta feel to make sure there's no soft spots nothing worse than a bad apple we're gonna get some blackberries blackberries you put in some oats or you can put in your cream of rice it's really good as well yeah these ones looking not too bad I'm gonna grab like four of them go for some grapes here I love grapes alrighty guys so that's Regan Grimes checking out this is my shopping NPC – Could We Soon See Drug Testing In the NPC With Bodybuilding?

the contents are going to be tested by your analysis no polygraph and this thing has nothing to do with the Olympics or the io6 IOC the idea of drug testing and professional bodybuilding and the MPC has come back up and of course whenever I have questions or anything I need to know about bodybuilding I go to my coach I have BB Pro former Quincy Roberts currently runs a big MPC promotion in Greensboro North Carolina we're going to see what his response is to some organizations thinking about adding drug testing into the MPC well when they're doing a drug testing competition I think the only way anybody can have a truly drug testing competition is to do your analysis or some type of blood test is really going to need that you know if these people are not taking drugs having lie detectors and sworn statements so anybody can probably pass a lot of texture depending on how good the lie detector machine is but your analysis would surely be the only way they can show if there's no in their body do you feel like MPC organization knowing that your analysis test conflicts with the overall mission of the MPC I don't think it does because you know basically most MPC shows are not drug tested but for them to have a drug-free competition to truly be a probe champion showing thing needs to be done because that's the only way the other people is not doing the show say the legitimate means is a drug-free competition that there are adding a passing or not for more check my channel into fitness cubes and or you can email me you are elite at gmailcom and call me at three three six nine eight seven four zero seven and please subscribe to my channel and like on this video if you like the information you got today
