About Vita TZ-2 5mg
This is a once-weekly dual-agonist peptide that acts on two gut hormone receptors, GLP-1 and GIP. It is supplied as freeze-dried powder for mixing with bacteriostatic water.
Vita: Each order is one vial holding 5 mg of freeze-dried powder. Mix it with bacteriostatic water before use.

How it works
By activating GLP-1 and GIP receptors it reduces appetite, slows stomach emptying and improves insulin release when blood sugar is high. A half-life of about 5 days allows weekly dosing. In trials, average weight loss was around 15–21%.

Clinical reference dose
Clinical reference: the labelled starting dose for this class is 2.5 mg once a week for 4 weeks, then 5 mg, increasing by 2.5 mg every 4 weeks as needed to a maximum of 15 mg a week.
Mixing: adding 1 ml of bacteriostatic water to this 5 mg vial gives 5 mg per ml. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 10 units (0.1 ml) then holds 0.5 mg.
Step up slowly: stomach side effects peak after each increase.

Injection sites
TZ-2 5mg comes as a freeze-dried powder. Once it is mixed with bacteriostatic water, peptides like this are usually given subcutaneously (subQ): into the fat just under the skin with a short insulin needle, not into muscle.

Finding it. Anywhere on the belly at least 5 cm (2 in) from the navel, avoiding scars, stretch marks and the belt line. Pinch a fold of skin and inject into the fold.
Why people choose it. The most-used subcutaneous site: the most fat, easy to see and reach, and absorption is steady. It is the first site listed on the labels of weekly GLP-1 pens.
Watch out. Move each injection at least 2–3 cm from the last one to avoid lumps (lipohypertrophy).

Why these sites for TZ-2 5mg
Subcutaneous (subQ)- Same three sites as the pens. Weekly medicines in this class are labelled for the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. Pick one area and move to a new spot each week.
- Belly first. The abdomen has the most fat and the steadiest absorption, and you can see what you are doing. The thigh and back of the arm are there to rotate into.
- Small volumes, short needle. SubQ injections are small (around 1 ml or less per spot). An insulin syringe (4–13 mm) reaches the fat without touching muscle; pinch the skin if you are lean.
- Rotate every time. Move each injection 2–3 cm from the last. Repeating one spot causes hard lumps under the skin that absorb unevenly.
Every time: wash your hands, wipe the vial top and the skin with alcohol and let it dry, use a new sterile needle and syringe, and never share.
