Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) with a rack in the centre.

  2. Halve the apples through the stem and scoop out the cores with a melon baller or teaspoon to make a hollow.

  3. Melt the butter, then mix it with the oats, chopped walnuts, maple syrup and cinnamon.

  4. Set the apples cut side up in a baking dish, pile the oat mixture into the hollows and pour 60 ml (1/4 cup) of water into the dish.

  5. Bake for about 30 minutes, until the apples are soft when pierced with a knife and the topping is golden.

  6. Mix the Greek yogurt and vanilla protein until smooth and spoon over the warm apples.
