Ingredients

Method

  1. In a jar or container that holds about 500 ml (2 cups), stir together the oats, protein powder and chia seeds while dry so the powder does not clump.

  2. Add the lactose-free yogurt, lactose-free milk and maple syrup and stir for 30 seconds, scraping the bottom, until smooth.

  3. Slice the strawberries and fold in about two-thirds of them.

  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight so the oats and chia soften.

  5. In the morning, stir, loosen with a splash of milk if needed and top with the rest of the strawberries.

Tips

  • Whey isolate is very low in lactose and fine for most people on low-FODMAP; regular whey concentrate is not.
