Esters: why the same hormone comes in different forms
The ester attached to the hormone sets how quickly it is released from the oil. Propionate and acetate are short; enanthate and cypionate are longer; decanoate and undecylenate are the longest. Each product page has a release-profile chart drawn from the compound’s published half-life, so you can compare them side by side.
Reading the vial label
Strength is printed in milligrams per millilitre (mg/ml): a 10 ml vial of 250 mg/ml holds 2,500 mg in total. The oil is a carrier (often grapeseed or MCT) with benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Check the seal, batch number and expiry date when your order arrives, and store vials at room temperature away from light; refrigerating oil can make it cloudy or crystallize.
Legal status in Canada
Anabolic steroids, including testosterone, are Schedule IV substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Possessing them for personal use isn’t an offence in Canada; trafficking, importing and exporting without authorization are. Testosterone is also prescribed by Canadian doctors for low testosterone (hypogonadism).
Health, bloodwork and safe supplies
Injectable steroids affect cholesterol, blood pressure, red-blood-cell count (hematocrit), fertility and your own testosterone production. A doctor can order a lipid panel, complete blood count, liver enzymes and hormone levels; your provincial health plan covers most of these when a doctor orders them.
